Senior System Designer

Enea´s software engineers build the next generation networks. Our software enables more than half of the all mobile phone calls in the world. We are now looking for a senior system designer to develop software for networking embedded real-time systems.

Job description
As our new senior system designer, you will evolve and improve Enea?s TCP/IP product portfolio and also Enea?s Operating Systems (RTOS and embedded Linux). Your technical expertise will be instrumental in building the wireless infrastructure of the future.

Responsibilities:
- Be Enea?s networking domain expert
- Evolving and improving our IP based RTOS products
- Evolving and improving our IP based Linux products
- Write and participate in pre-studies
- Deliver top quality assured communication products
- Provide 3:rd line support in critical support issues

Your profile
We think you have a passion for embedded software development and data communication solutions. You enjoy discussing and challenging ideas and realizing these ideas in prototypes and products. You also like to act as a mentor for colleagues.

You have worked as a software designer and technical leader for at least 5 years with development and design of IP based products. You have a solid understanding of networking protocols and good knowledge and experience from the following:

- TCP/IP networking (TCP/IP networking stacks and Ethernet, IP, IPv6, IPSec, UDP, TCP, SCTP, OSPF and NTP application protocols)
- BSD sockets programming
- C/C++ programming
- Developing SW in Embedded system
- Real-time systems and RTOS
- Embedded Linux
- Porting open source code to RTOS
- Distributed system design
- Protocol stacks
- Multi-core software design

We also value experience from:
- Enea OSE®
- TCP/IP applications
- SSH and SSL, and Cryptography
- Multi-core HW platforms

You have a Master of Science or preferably a Ph. D in Engineering/Science.
