Senior Unity Game Developer

We are looking for a Senior Unity Game Developer to lead our team of programmers.

Your role at Gold Town Games will be to lead the programming team that develops World Hockey Manager.

You will be responsible for leading the programming team, setting up guidelines and best practices for building a game of the highest quality. You will work closely with the game team, including backend developers, artists, and managers to deliver a great player experience.

Our games are developed using C# in Unity 3D for mobile. As a developer you have an interest in understanding the whole tech process and have great analytical capabilities. You write well-structured and commented code, are comfortable working on complicated code-base and have a great sense of what makes a good game. We work in an agile and iterative Scrum process with frequent releases to the live environment so you will see the impact of your work almost immediately.

You are passionate about games and able to work in a flexible and fluid environment where the job will evolve over time. You will have an advantage if you are interested in sports, although it will not be decisive.

Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 3 programmers, this includes scheduling, load balancing and career development.
Work with artists, designers and producers to balance the technical needs with the update schedule.
Help improve our tool pipeline to enhance overall efficiency
Deliver high quality and well-structured code.
Design, architect and implement game features.
Take an active part in game creation and specification.
Maintain and optimize new and existing game features.
Share knowledge and help colleagues.

Other skills include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
3+ year?s software development experience.
Deep Unity 3D experience.
Deep Knowledge of C#.
Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Passion for software development.
Passion for creating Free to play games.
