Experienced customer focussed software developer

Gavagai helps its customers gain actionable insights from unstructured customer experience data such as surveys and customer support tickets. Using our AI-powered multilingual text analytics engine we target global B2C customers such as retailers, banks and telecom operators.

Your role:

Your role will be the customer facing side of the development team. Together with the customer, you will help work out solutions that match Gavagai’s products with the customer’s needs and also lead the implementation of the solutions. We estimate that your time will be roughly equally split between development and working with customers.

Requirements:

We expect you to have at least five years experience. You will use your excellent skills in back-end web technologies, including JavaScript with frameworks such as node.js and connecting applications to REST APIs. We expect you to have experience from working with the following technologies and methods:

• Agile development
• Databases such as MySQL, Redis or mongoDB
• Micro-services, Kubernetes, Docker and Spring boot
• Test driven development
• Software design and architecture experience

In addition, you should:

• Have an interest in data driven business value creating and its challenges
• Have experience in working directly with customers
• Be a team player
